A look back at 2019 and looking ahead to 2020

A look back at 2019 and looking ahead to 2020

Firstly, Happy New Year! As we enter 2020 it’s important we all do two things. 1) Set goals and targets for the year ahead. 2) look back at our successes and lessons learnt across the last 12 months. I’m going to focus on the latter for today – our New Year’s Day blog.

intoitMEDIA has now been in business for 17 months and entered 2019 having worked with three clients. We’re proud to say that we’ve worked with lots of new clients, helping the business go from strength to strength. The first being Sunderland City Council on the Sunderland Shorts Film Festival. Initially we helped build the website for the 2019 festival before taking on social media for the week before the festival as well as during the festival itself. The team were so pleased with our work that we are now working on another project for 2020. intoitMEDIA is responsible for creating the brand, producing a website and creating their social media platforms.

We’re proud to be still working with Petmitts across their website and social media platforms. In 2020, we hope to continue this and we plan to refresh the website design in the coming months. We’ve also TyneHealth who are the GP federation for the borough of North Tyneside. It’s been a big year for them, and they’ve enjoyed a rebrand, new-look website and launched their brand new social media platforms with our help.

intoitMEDIA started the year at the Hope Street Xchange in Sunderland with the Enterprise Place but it was time for our own office! And with that a new challenge with extra overheads and rent to pay. From the 1st April we started operating from the Pride Media Centre, which was a big step in our business journey. With the move also brought a new client – Pride World Media. Pride World Media manage the Pride Media Centre and operate two radio stations, Pride Radio 89.2FM and Pride World Radio. intoitMEDIA started producing daily content for both brands across their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.

Other clients we’ve worked this year include Breakfree Counselling Services from Sunderland. We’ve supported them with our starter social media content plan helping to produce posts for their Facebook and Instagram pages. It’s been a big year in business for Breakfree who won a Wearside Women in Business award. In December we were proud to welcome Intrinsic Business Consultancy as a client. We look forward to working with Dionne to grow the brand and its social media presence during 2020.

Overall, intoitMEDIA has achieved a number of goals set in January 2019, including increasing our client base by 50% and growing revenue by 70% compared to our first five months in business. We also haven’t killed each other yet which is always a bonus! 2020 promises to be an interesting year for intoitMEDIA. In February we’ll be on the move again as we head back to Sunderland, moving into Sunderland Software Centre.

intoitMEDIA is back in the office – our current office that is – on Friday the 3rd January. We’ll be doing our annual business planning when we sit down and look at everything from our financial forecast to marketing plans as well as reviewing our yearly goals for the year ahead. From January 6th, we’re back in the swing of it! We look forwards to strengthening our relationships with our clients and to helping even more businesses grow in 2020.
