At that point, she was developing her product range and wanted to develop a website alongside, which would allow her customers to customise products with their pets ‘mitt’ online. The website has the ability to grow as Petmitts does, whilst maintaining its simplicity for its busy users!

We worked with Pearl Saddington, Learning Officer for Sunderland City Council on the Hylton Castle Oral History Project to train some of the young people in the local area to produce multimedia content. This was a great opportunity for us to help young people develop transferable skills and confidence in themselves. We trained the group to use voice recording equipment, how to record video effectively using a mobile phone as well as interview techniques.
Once the young people had the skills to record and interview effectively, they could begin working to produce some oral histories around the Ghost of Hylton Castle, collecting memories and local stories from the community. We at intoitMEDIA then gathered the content collecting to then edit their videos together to demonstrate the fascinating oral histories in the area.
